MELANCHOLY

Brera Academy of Fine Arts (Milan), 2019

In my graduation project for Fine Arts, I've delved into the theme of melancholy using a combination of paintings and calcography. The paintings serve as emotive expressions, capturing the essence of melancholy through color palettes, compositions, and evocative imagery. Meanwhile, the calcography adds a layer of intricacy and detail, allowing for a more nuanced exploration of melancholy's subtleties and symbolism. Together, these mediums offer viewers a multi-dimensional experience, inviting them to immerse themselves in the complexities of melancholy and contemplate its significance in the human experience.
